Warren B. Roby is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Before he transitioned into the behavioral health field, he spent 40 years in education at four American Universities, one Japanese university, one Moroccan university, three post-secondary schools (two in France, one in Japan) and a Moroccan high school. He is fluent in French and Spanish and can counsel in these languages.

 

He views counseling as a joint problem-solving endeavor. What do you want in life? What is holding you back? He takes a holistic approach in which wellness concerns (diet, exercise, and recreation) are emphasized. He stresses family of origin issues. He is especially interested in helping people manage the changes brought on by re-locations and losses. He is eager to help those who are launching their careers or wish to make employment changes or pursue additional education.

 

As a counselor he has worked with two agencies, a psychiatric hospital, and in a couple of private practices.
